COVID-19 INFORMATION
This page is updated to give you the information needed to enjoy your rental the best way possible with all of the current events taken into account. Though we are operating as similarly as possible to previous seasons, there are some differences you will need to know in order to fully take advantage of your time on the water.
Updated Policies as of May 17th, 2021 to comply with federal, state and local law and do our best to ensure staff and customer safety:
Mask Use
We are asking that all customers wear a mask when at our reservation windows and also anytime you are within 6 feet of any staff member. This includes during your safety and operations walkthrough. Thanks for helping keep our staff and yourselves as protected as possible during your rental!
RESERVATIONS
We encourage you to always book online or over the phone to ensure for the best overall flow and process for your rental time.
What to do with your personal items
We cannot hold onto guests’ belongings during your rental, except what will fit in a sealed zip lock bag (which we are happy to provide). Zip Locks are intended for car keys, wallets, ID, etc.
Retail Purchases
We are not allowed to sell retail items (water, soda, ice, towels, etc) until further notice.
Please Take out What You Bring in
Guests will be required to pack out what you pack in, including all garbage, disposable gloves, and face masks.
Paying for your rental and fuel
We will be using a cash-less payment system (credit/debit cards only) until further notice.
Our Updated Cleaning and Disinfecting Precautions
Research has shown that UV exposure of 30 minutes will kill most, if not all Covid-19 contamination. Therefore ALL of our equipment (boats, jet skis, paddleboards, and kayaks) will have a minimum of a 30 minute turnaround time between reservations.
After each reservation, we will spray a soap and water solution on all surfaces of our boats and jet skis. All surfaces will then be thoroughly wiped.
Following the soap and water scrub, all surfaces of our boats and jet skis will be cleaned extensively with our traditional boat-safe cleaning products, with special attention to high traffic and high touch areas like steering wheels, throttle controls, interior and exterior handles, dashboard controls, etc.
Our staff will be required to wear facemasks whenever they are within 6 ft of a guest.
All pens and clipboards and commonly used surfaces will be wiped down after each use.
*IMPORTANT: In the event of a government closure, we will not provide refunds. Should we be closed at any point during the 2021 season due to COVID-19 or a closure outside of our control, we will work with renters to ensure future bookings at another time. If our booked renters or people in their planned rental party have COVID or are in quarantine due to any other reason/contact…we will work with the renter(s) as best we can but cannot guarantee anything due to a very full seasonal schedule. All rescheduled bookings will be considered a credit to use later in 2020 or future seasons. We will not be able to offer refunds so please give us as much advance warning as possible so we have time to accommodate you. Thanks for understanding.
